The Kongversation: Episode 101

It's the first episode of The Kongversation!  What's that you say?  You've already had sixteen episodes!  How could this be the FIRST?  I don't know.  Microsoft set the precedent.  You're just going to have to push that aside if you want to hear us talk about the PR disaster that is the Xbox One!

The Kongversation: The Summer Swampass (Part 1)

We need to get better about doing these proper updates for this show!  In case you missed it, two weeks ago we had an episode entitled E3 Confusion.  That episode spawned this episode's broader topic, The Summer Swampass (Part 1), where Chad and I wax nostalgic about Donkey Kong Universe-filled summers of yore.  This episode takes us from 1995 up until the summer of 1998, where excitement about the DKC and DKL trilogy gives way to the early N64 years and the dawn of the spinoff series.

That's all good news, but WHO IS Hiro Yamada?

Nintendo Di-erection: the Good, the Bad and the Mario Party

Yesterday's Nintendo Direct came and went with minimal fanfare, but we've all come out of it alive and the good news is that nobody's been sick yet. The other good news is that up-and-coming hopefully-not-rubbish remake Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is to feature (ostensibly) eight new levels available after you've completed the game's ordinary moon-punching requirements. Better than a jizz-bomb in the eye, right?
