In addition, Gamefly.com (the same site which got the Diddy Kong Racing DS boxart) has posted a picture of what is apparently the Mario Party 8 Boxart:

So while DK doesn’t have the Toothy Grin™, apparently they decided it wasn’t important to add anything in his mouth, whether it be a tongue or what have you.
