Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is Probably Not DKU

Last night, news came out that, supposedly, Banjo and Kazooie are in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, thereby making the game DKU. 24 hours haven’t even passed, and apparently, they’re not in the game.

TSSZ News got the opportunity to talk to Steve Lycett, an employee at Sumo Digital. According to him:

“Banjo in a SEGA character racing game? Really? Given we’ve not seen any box art, I’d not hold too much stock in that,” he said. “Where, for example, is the Sumo logo?”

The fact that Chris Lewis’ portfolio website (which you can find in the first link) gives you a 404 now is a pretty good indication that, provided Banjo and Kazooie are really in the game, we weren’t meant to know about it last night. PR quotes these days can go either way; the first example that comes to mind is Rare’s Justin Cook denying a Viva Pinata sequel a few days before Trouble in Paradise was revealed.

For now, consider Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing for the 360 to not be DKU until proven otherwise.
