Captain Blubber's Biography
Species: Hippopotomus
Captain Blubber began his life in Treasure Trove Cove, orphaned by his parents when he was but a young hippo. He became a rebellious young lad, and took to the liking of being a pirate. So a pirate was what he became. He built his ship, The Salty Hippo, and searched neighbouring islands and coves for treasure and adventure. After spending months finding a huge haul, he headed off back to dock The 'Hippo, but he ran aground and lost his booty in the process.
It was at this point that Blubber met Banjo and Kazooie (while sobbing like a big girly man). He explained his plight, and the bear/bird team rescued his huge piles of treasure for them. In return, Blubber (through his black heart, arr harr) traded them a Jiggy for the huge piles of treasure he'd accumulated. Suckers.
With his vast amounts of treasure, Captain Blubber went out and bought a waveracer and sped amongst the waves with no protective gear or reguard for the environment. Part of the rebelling, you see. After becoming so addicted to waveracing, Blubber decided to leave Treasure Trove Cove and setup shop in Jolly Roger's Lagoon. He bought a set of Turbo Talon Trainers after being persuaded through Peer Group Pressure, but to his dismay, he discovered that they were the wrong size. When Banjo and Kazooie unexpectedly dropped into his Waveracer Hire store, he sold them for a mere Dubloon.
Captain Blubber is currently piloting the Saucer o' Peril while shouting 'Wahey' like a raving lunatic.
