Juju's Biography
Species: Living Totem Pole
The miracles of Voodoo, or "Voodun," magic are many. Or maybe that's few. Yes, few, and it's hard to consider Juju one of them. It's not that Juju is evil, as he is not, but he's just rather....there.
Juju began life not alive. He was simply a totem pole in front of shaman/voodoo priest Mumbo Jumbo's main hut located in the area known as Mumbo's Mountain. One day Mumbo decided to make Juju alive. Perhaps it was just to flaunt his powers. Really, who knows. Juju lived a pretty simple life. He would spin around in front of Mumbo's hut, and that's it. He didn't have legs, he was simply a living totem pole.
When the evil witch Gruntilda had her first battle with the bear known as Banjo and the bird known as Kazooie, she spread 10 "jiggy" pieces around in several areas, Mumbo's Mountain being one of them. The jiggies were required for Banjo and Kazooie to get to other areas, and Gruntilda put a jiggy with Juju. To get the jiggy, Kazooie had to shoot eggs in all of Juju's mouths while spinning. While Juju vanishes layer by layer when the eggs when in his mouth, he did rematerialize moments later. On top of that, or on top of him, there was also an extra honeycomb piece to be gotten off of Juju.
Juju is currently, to the best of our knowledge, spinning.
