Rubee's Biography
Species: Human
Rubee was born a snake charmer, trained by his parents. He was trained since his birth, and learned the ancient art of Snake Charming. Unfortunately, the only test subject he had was a crazy snake named Histup who enjoyed living in baskets and hoarding eggs for a living. Rubee tried to explain to Histup that valuables such as precious stones, gold and the al ighty ollar were what they were after, but a snake's definition of valuables is usually different from a person's - mainly because a snake will believe that anything edible is valuable.
Because of Histup's definition of what was valuable and what was not, Rubee became the poorest charmer in his family tree. Humiliated by his snake, Rubee left all his relations and friends to start a new life in Gobi's Valley. He took refuge in one of the pyramids there, only to find that even that was already occupied. It was here that he first met Toots. Rubee was not sure how Toots came to be, or even what he was, but he took a liking to the fleshy little critter, and Toots became his trusted companion. Rubee and Toots saught peaceful meditation in the quiet pyramid. And for a period of time, they got it.
Until, one day, when a honeybear and a breegull entered the pyramid, looking for Jiggies. Desperate for money, Rubee begged for valuables if they were to be assisted...and the pair gave eggs, which Histup gladly accepted. About a month after the pair took the jiggy and left, Rubee met up with a king from a strange and far off land - the mighty King Jingaling. Jingaling and Rubee became great friends (mainly because Jingaling paid Rubee in solid gold), and as a sign of friendship, Rubee gave Toots to him.
Rubee and Histup remain in the pyramid to this day, meditating - or hoping for more customers like Jingaling.
