Lanky Kong's Biography
Species: Orangutan
Lanky was just a normal ape living a normal life in the Kongo Jungle of DK Island. He didn't even really know Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and the many heroes of DK Country. Lanky was just an odd loner (odd by his mannerisms and way of walking). When K. Rool was looking for Kongs to kidnap to create a diversion in case his Blast-o-Matic machine malfunctioned though, somehow he chose Lanky. It was probably a case of "in the wrong place at the wrong time" for our orange friend when K. Rool was scouting. Maybe K. Rool thought that someone who looked like such a buffoon couldn't possibly do any harm against the Kremlings if he was freed. Whatever the circumstances, Lanky was captured and was eventually taken to be held in an Aztec-like temple. He was resuced by the main man himself, Donkey Kong.
Lanky teamed up with DK, Diddy, Tiny Kong, and Chunky Kong; and helped out by collecting blueberry flavored bananas, beating the dangerous Puftoss, helping the other Kongs beat down King Kut Out, and slipping up K. Rool in the final battle. Armed with a grape blowgun that he bought from Funky and a trombone he bought from Candy, Lanky was more powerful than Stretch Armstrong AND his dog.
Lanky was a nobody before unwillingly getting involved in a battle with K. Rool. Since then, he now hobnobs with the friends he made on his adventure. He still isn't the most normal egg in the fryer though...
