Moves Checklist


There are moves that you must buy with Banana Coins from Cranky throughout the game. Each Kong has three original ones, and two that all Kongs can posess. This is a guide to the moves, so you no longer have to memorize them. But memorizing would be the best bet anyway. Oh, well. READ!



Donkey Kong's Moves

Simian Slam

All Kongs can do the Simian Slam, but it's one of DK's faves. It's useful for smashing crates, switches, and enemies.
Baboon Blast

Press the Z button while standing on a DK Face Pad to jump into the sky for a barrel blasting game, or some other activity.
Gorilla Grab

Pull this fancy lever using the Gorilla Grab and activate the
COSMIC WHEEL!
Strong Kong
5
Hopping into a Donkey Barrel will render the ape invincible against foes. Holding Z and pressing C-Left will deactivate the invincibility. But why would you want to? Oh, yes, because it uses up crystals like no tomorrow.
Super Duper Simian Slam
7
Pound the ground like DKC and SSB. Donkey will unlock secrets, and activate gules-background switches.




Diddy Kong's Moves

Chimpy Charge

Hold Z, then slam the B button to make Diddy bash his head on the wall. Or Kremlings. But the wall is funnier.
Rocketbarrel Boost

Hop into the Diddy Barrel to head for a flight in Diddy's dual rocket barrels. This comsumes crystals, but to end flight, press Z and C-Left.
Simian Spring

While on a Diddy Facepad, press and hold Z to make Diddy get some well-deserved air.
Super Simian Slam

Once again, this move's for all Kongs. It's good for fending off multiple foes.
Super Duper Simian Slam

This one, like Donkey, can activate higher-level cyan and crimson switches.




Tiny Kong's Moves

Tiny's Barrel will let you shrink down to do some serious snooping...but only if you have crystals o' plenty.
Ponytail Twirl

Hit the A button while in the air to start Tiny's ponytail twirl, like her older sister Dixie. She'll float in the air like the copycat she is. Grr...
Super Simian Slam

This mutual Kong movement can unlock blue switches by jumping and pressing Z, unlike the mutual Kong bowel movement.
Monkeyport

Whilst on a Tiny Facepad, press Z to teleport her to a fixed destination. Wahoo!
Super Duper Simian Slam

It may seem odd for such a small monkey to do this, but Tiny can super-duper slam down on the Kremlings and what-not to activate scarlet switches.




Lanky Kong's Moves

Press Z while on a Lanky Facepad to do a handstand for no good reason. But the move have a cool name, so you leave it be.
Baboon Balloon

Jump into one of Lanky's barrels to begin your short floating sequence.
Super Simian Slam

After visiting Cranky and purchasing this little ditty, Lanky can pound on blue switches, and something will actually happen.
Orangstand Sprint

Press and hold Z, then press B to make lanky walk on his hands at the same speed as Kazooie in Banjo-Kazooie.
Super Duper Simian Slam

Okay, you know the drill. Stomp red switches.




Chunky Kong's Moves

Chunky can jump into his respectable facepad and increase greatly in size, using up crystals all the while.
Primate Punch

Hold Z and press B to knock Kremlings out of the ring At this point it is uncertain if Chunky has an "ear-biting" move to accompany this one.
Super Simian Slam

Sigh. All over again, now. Super Simian Slam + Blue Switches = something fun to happen.
Gorilla Gone

Jumping into a barrel, Chunky will gorw invisible for a period of time.
Super Duper Simian Slam

Phew. Last one, now. You should know it. It unlocks red switches. There, you've passed. Now go have a rockin' graduation party.
