Glimmer's Biography
Species: Angler Fish
Whilst there are fish in the ocean, none have such a glowing personality as our old pal, Glimmer. Everyone likes seafood, and while we don't consider Glimmer food, we still like him.
Like most of the animal buddies introduced in Donkey Kong Country 2, Glimmer originated in the reptile-teeming Crocodile Isle. Living the waters of Krem Quay, Glimmer often made his home in the sunken Kremling vessels that predated the Gangplank Galleon. The waters here were extremely dark, his only defense against the hordes of Lockjaws and Shuris that infested the murky depths. When Diddy and Dixie Kong went on a mission to rescue Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool; Glimmer joined his friends Clapper, Rattly, Squeaks, Flapper, and Squitter in helping out the Kongs and joining the other animal buddies. Glimmer only helped out in one stage (illuminating the dark waters for the Kongs), but he was still a big help nonetheless. When Crocodile Isle blew up and sank, Glimmer moved to Donkey Kong Island to live in the Kongo Jungle with Enguarde in "Coral Capers."
