Krow's Biography

MY pirate has a crow. Species: Vulture
(Kremling Army)

The variety of vultures which lived on Crocodile Isle and the surrounding isles have long been referred to as Neckys. There are two main varietys of Neckys, the traditional ones, and smaller, more upright ones, called Mini-Neckys. The Mini-Neckys eventually grow into Neckys, but this was not the case for our vulture friend, Krow. As all Neckys, he started life looking like a Mini-Necky. He kept growing, though, and eventually got to the size of his Donkey Kong Island counterpart, Master Necky. However, Krow did not turn into a fully-grown vulture, but stayed a compact Mini-Necky. Looking a bit like an oversized crow, Krow decided that there wasn't a better place to nest than the Crow's Nest atop the breached Gangplank Galleon.

When K. Rool decided to turn his Kremling Army into ruthless pirates, he gave Krow the job of guarding the Gangplank Galleon from the Kongs. Krow did so to the best of his ability, but to no avail. The Kongs got past him and continued up Crocodile Isle. Mere death wasn't enough to dishearten Krow, though, as Diddy and Dixier Kong would soon find out. As they neared the end of Gloomy Gulch, Krow's disembodied spirit made an encore appearance. This time, though, he had an army of ghostly Mini-Neckys at his disposal. The Kongs made quick work of him, and his soul dissipated. But no, this is not the end of Krow's story.

As K. Rool was defeated in the Lost World, he absorbed what was left of the Force power before he sailed off. Using the power, he retained the spirits of his mightiest warriors (save Kudgel), which included Krow. After he used his newfound Force power to bring up Crocodile Isle from the depths of the ocean, K. Rool used a bit of it to regenerate bodies for the bosses of his army. History repeated itself as far as Krow's two battles go, except this time, Krow didn't die. As K. Rool failed and Crocodile Isle sank once again, Krow boarded the Gangplank Galleon with the other pirate themed members of the Kremling Army (save K. Rool) and sailed off into the sunset.
