Throughout the great legacy of DKU animal helpers, none is more underappreciated and misunderstood than this two-game monolith. Well.... okay, so Ellie isn't the best animal helper... well.. she's the only female helper, so you womens' rights activists should be happy... erm.. Just read the damned biography.
Ellie is perhaps the most varied of the animal helpers. She has many, MANY tasks which she can use to help out our heroic apes. Of course, there are many elephants which inhabit Donkey Kong Island. You can hear their calls if you listen very closesly to the jungle music in Donkey Kong Country. Ellie is just one of the many. Born in Lake Orangatanga, Ellie was a young pachyderm when she went on her first adventure with the Kongs. It was when K. Rool had captured a vacationing Donkey and Diddy in the Northern Kremisphere and placed them in the cyborgnetic body of the new Kremling king, KAOS. Ellie joined the ranks of the animal buddies alongside her pal Parry and was vital in defeating members of the Kremling Army. A few months later, she happened upon Dixie and Kiddy once again, and helped them find the fabled Lost World. They found it, completed the "Time Trials", and were on their way.
Who knows when Ellie's services will be called upon again?
