Queen Banana Bird's Biography
Species: Banana Bird
Long ago, when Kongs were young, and the Banana Birds already old, the wisest of their race took pity on Kongs, and pledged to watch over them, always. And at the moment of her death, the sky became alive with those stars, thus creating the Banana Birds' heaven. But not all Banana Birds are admitted to this shining place. Erm, back to reality, then.
A long time ago, in a galaxy that was not yet created, out of the fabric of nothingness there was a mystical being created by whatever means your religion (or lack thereof) dictates. She was the Queen Banana Bird, an amazing creature which could travel through space unphased. As the separate galaxies were developing, something went awry, creating multiple dimensions. She eventually made her way to Earth, where she settled in the clouds on the northern side of a landmass. A few millennia passed, as the Queen watched an odd reptilian civilization develop southwest of her island. There were animals on her island, a variety of apes, bears, and others, but she was still lonely. Not accustomed to life on the ground, Queen Banana Bird created fifteen smaller, less elaborate versions of herself to keep her company. She taught each one of them a special tune, and their haromious song had the ability to defeat concentrated evil. She would live happily like this for the rest of her seemingly endless life....or so she thought.
The animals on her own island and the reptilian creatures were both developing rapidly. They had learned a language called "English" which she quickly picked up, listening from her lofty perch. She took a liking to the intellegent apes especially, and vowed to protect them. When one of the crocodilian creatures entered her part of the island, she tried to stop him. The pirate fatigued fiend put up a lock in front of her, so she wouldn't be able to stop him. Furthermore, he kidnapped all fifteen of her Banana Birds (or tried too, as some escaped in a panic), and sealed them in hidden caves for all eternity. Their song was the only thing that could open the lock and free her. Thankfully, she spied two apes rescue one of her birds! Her heart leapt with joy as an elderly gorilla named Wrinkly Kong took care of the rescued birds. Eventually the apes overthrew the crocodilian, and rescued all the Banana Birds. They took them to the Queen, and introduced themselves as Dixie and Kiddy Kong. The Banana Birds each sang their tune, and in a bright flash of light, the lock was gone. Queen Banana Bird swooped from the sky to have her revenge. The reptilian creature, better known as K. Rool, was getting away in a hoverboat. She caught up, and laid a mystical egg on top of him. He would never escape under her keen observation. The egg would keep him confined, but sustain his life. However, as she finally relaxed, little did she know, he had already escaped. He sealed up the entrance to the north part of the island when he returned (again) nearly three years later, hoping to keep her out of his plans for large scale destruction. Queen Banana Bird remained at peace, with her Banana Birds, leaving K. Rool to the Kongs, as they obviously knew what they were doing. While out of the picture for the moment, who knows when Queen Banana Bird will show up again? She is rather apeeling, after all. Ugh, sorry for that.
