Giant Clam's Biography
Species: Clambo (Kremling Army)
Bosses come and bosses go. This one fell into the latter category rather quickly.
After King K. Rool's initial failure capturing the Kong banana hoard, most of the Kremling baddies found themselves landed in jail with the king himself. The aquatic members of the Kremling Army were no exception, and brought new meaning to the word "holding tank." However, they had yet to see the giant Clambo known as (drumroll)...Giant Clam.
K. Rool was busted out of prison by Cranky Kong in an effort to test Diddy and Donkey, and immediately sent for more baddies to defeat the gorilla-monkey team. One of the Clambos from Crocodile Isle had grown to an amazing size, due to having no other clams to compete with in his particular territory. Giant Clam was brought over with the new breed of Kremling Army baddies, and was stationed to guard Kremlantis (which seemed like a natural fit, of course), should Donkey and Diddy get that far.
Well, obviously, they did, and Giant Clam turned out to be a pushover. Like his smaller Clambo bretheren, Giant Clam shot out pearls at Donkey and Diddy. However, in Giant Clam's chamber, was a normal clam (not a Clambo), off whose shell Giant Clam's pearls ricocheted. Diddy and Donkey merely had to position themselves so the bounce would send the pearls right back into Giant Clam. Several hits from his own friendly fire, and Giant Clam was no longer in fighting condition.
