Bubbler's Biography
Species: Octopus
Bubbler the Octopus enjoyed life on Sherbert Island. From when he was a young octopus, where he lived freely and without hassle. Like the other Tiger Island residents, Bubbler also had a passion for racing, and practiced with great enthusiasm. Because of this, when he became older, Bubbler became extremely fast for an octopus. For that matter, Bubbler became so fast that he could outrun most hovercrafts.
However, Bubbler's carefree life hit a brick wall when Wizpig came along and disrupted Tiger Island. He took control of the Island, its racetracks, and puppeteered the most powerful residents of particular areas to do his bidding. Because of this, Bubbler was forced to do Wizpig's dirty work and prevent anyone from progressing through Sherbert Island.
Thankfully, Diddy Kong was extremely quick at racing and was able to beat Bubbler after being challenged to a fair race - even though Wizpig's idea of a fair race consisted of mines and trap bubbles being strewn along the course to slow down the opposition. Diddy beat Bubbler not once, but twice - once to trigger the Silver Coin Challenge, and the second time to win a piece of the Wizpig Amulet which would both free Bubbler from the grip of Wizpig's magic, and help Diddy progress to fighting the evil pig himself.
Bubbler has been long free from Wizpig's spell, and is once again able to do as he pleases around Sherbert Island. He is also a lot more careful, and he looks after Sherbert Island's residents with the greatest of care.
