It seemed like only days had passed since their last big competition, but Mario was putting the finishing touches on organizing another. Mario thought to himself that this time he was bound to come out on top, because he introduced the sport to the Mushroom Kingdom.....golf. Sure it was popular with the residents, but he had the experiance factor. Something had been bugging him though....
"Should I go through the Mushroom Village warp pipe and invite Donkey Kong?" he thought. He was already planning on inviting Link and others from that wretched fighting competition through Master Hand's deserted Chest, but was it wise to invite Donkey Kong? They weren't exactly enemies anymore, but they weren't the best of pals either. They just had a mutual respect for each other after they took care of Bowser on his "Eternal Star." Besides, Donkey Kong beat him and everyone else in everything they've done so far. Was it wise to bring him in the golfing tournaments and the assorted challenges surronding the tournaments? Mario thought about it, and he realized to be the man, you have to beat the man......
Meanwhile, Bowser was lurking in the bushes with his prime Baby Bowser cohort. He had been beaten in their "board game" competition, but he would get revenge. He would ruin their little "golf" game, and show that he is their master!
