Nana's Biography

Insert lame 'Cute Grrl Power' joke wherever the hell you want. Species: Human
In that cold-as-a-bizarro-hell place known as the Arctic, people live differently. For one, parkas are all the rage. For another, eggplants fall from the sky. For another, everyone carries big mallets about. What a wacky place.

Nana is one of the best 'Ice Climbers' about. A nickname given by the citizens to the best expeditioners, Nana can be seen climbing mountains, collecting vegetables, and defending herself from angry wildlife with her twin brother Popo almost daily. She is able to hold her own in a fight, but she usually goes wherever Popo ventures. Over the years, they've grown quite close and have even developed some showy fighting moves by working together.

When the ressurected Master Hand was choosing some new fighters for his next tournaments, he was impressed by the little Climber's durability and agility, and threw her and Popo in just for kicks. He also let them work as a pair to see their full potential. They held their own for a while, but when Donkey Kong defeated the hands, they regained their free will and were able to return to their chilly home.

Nana continues to live the way she always has, but she doesn't care. She's been doing it since the 80's, the silly little immortal Ice Climber.
