Chances are, if you've played Viva Piñata then you've also taken a 12 step program to get yourself off of Viva Piñata. Unfortunately, all those hours of rehabilitation were fruitless because Rare's come out with a more addictive strain of our favorite Mexican party based drug. Trouble in Paradise includes a number of new species and allows you to visit two foreign terrains, the desert and the arctic! But that's just the TiP of the iceberg (see what I did there?). They've made the game incredibly more accessible with a Just for Fun mode and a plethora of local AND online Co-Op features. Plus, they've refined the in game navigation, and streamlined the CANDY SHIT out of everything. That's not to mention the incredibly-unique-but-also-somewhat-useless new Xbox Live Vision Camera features. Using the Vision Camera, you can scan Pokemon Piñata cards directly into the game to unlock piñata or other features. If you like collecting piñata, making them mate (you pervert), or just beating them to death with a shovel, it's never been this easy or intuitive.

If that's not enough to end two years of piñata sobriety, I don't know what is. But don't take my word for it, just look at this screenshot of two new piñata species exclusive to Trouble in Paradise:

The more the DKU changes, the more it stays the same.

'Nuff said.
