Congratulations. You realised that Sean isn't the only one who works here. Aren't you proud of yourselves?
did anyone ever notice that on dkc64 they change all but 4 charcters names
and (or) leave out dixie and baby kong but add tiny and lankey her bare a
strong resemblence ? whats the deal???
-Jason
Chiphead: Baby Kong? I don't remember any Baby Kong. Though now that I think about it, I remember an episode of Lord Harry where Donkey and Diddy had to babysit a Baby Kong for Dixie and Candy and then he somehow gets kidnapped by K. Rool who wanted to adopt him and he sang this painful musical number. Or something like that. Dammit! Now you've got memories of Lord Harry coming back to haunt me.
I just went to plantetgamecube and I just found out that it will only be released
only for Xobox! I Thoght I should tell one of you so you guys can make the
changes
-nardar01@hotmail.com
Chiphead: Xobox? What's a Xobox? I went to Planet GameCube to find out and they seem to think that it will only be out for Xbox. This must have been written just after Microsoft bought Rare and before anyone was sure who got the rights to the Donkey Kong characters. Nintendo retained the rights to the Donkey Kong characters, so you won't be seeing Donkey Kong Racing on Xbox. The most common rumor going around is that it's being retooled as a Sabrewulf racing game. Still no word on what a Xobox is, though.
Dear Sir/Madam/Walrus,
Before your site went down, I
remember seeing some hilarious pictures of the Carl guy from Family Matters
plastered with "GAY CARL". I tried looking for them under
features/letters/faq/random something or other, but to no avail. I have a
friend named Carl, and would appreciate if you help me humiliate him by
sending the pictures to me, or giving me a link.
Thanks Again,
-ssbmang
Chiphead: I remember an update a while ago linking to these. If that's not what you're looking for, try looking around this Letters should have it.
Sorry to say this, but will DKGCN be a "vulger fetch quest" like DK:64? PS: I
did not like that "Yeah, Super Mario 64 will do that to us too" remark
(although thats not a question). At least it's not a "collect em all" adventure like
Banjo-Kazooie and DK:64!
-FLYTRAP28@aol.com
Chiphead: By the way, we didn't do the MST3K Tribute FUNNOs you see on the main page. Those were the original staff. The one you mentioned was either Chad or Slush. I personally liked Super Mario 64, which, by the way was a "'collect em all' adventure." Remember all those stars you had to collect? The eight red coins in each level? And who knows how many regular coins you had to collect.
Anyhoo, Ninendo probably won't make DK for GameCube so collect-heavy. In fact, rumor has it that they'll make it more like the Donkey Kong Country series, but that's just a rumor.
Klobber: PS: Super Mario 64 sucked.
What are you thinking? Krystal is not a DKU character. She first appeared in a
Star Fox game, making her a Star Fox character. If Waluigi were to have his own
game, would you call that DKU because Waluigi premiered in a game that Donkey Kong
cameod in? If yes, you're all idiots. If not, then why should Krystal premiering
in a game with a DKU cameo make her subsequent games DKU? hmpf.
That's all,
-A disappointed fan.
Chiphead: Krystal is a DKU character. Waluigi was in Game & Watch Gallery 4, but that's not DKU because Donkey Kong just had a "cameo" role. Tricky, on the other hand, had a much bigger part in Star Fox Adventures, being second banana to Fox. Because of that, Star Fox Adventures is classified as a spinoff game rather than a cameo game, thus making any apperances by characters introduced in SFA, such as Krystal, DKU. Besides, we need something to keep us occupied other than Mario Party 12.
Sean: No, it's more along the lines that Waluigi appeared in a game with the classic DK and DK Jr. That throws our continuum out of the loop, and the only logical course of action was to amend the rules. Plus, it keeps us from covering Fire Emblem, which has less to do with DK than even Starfox. At least that stars talking animals.
Do you know how I could get a Lanky Kong toy? My son has the Donkey Kong and Diddy
Kong plush toys, and he wants the same toy of Lanky Kong.
Sincerely,
DK Fan
Chiphead: Let's see... if I remember correctly, Nintendo made a series of plush toys, but I think they were made before Donkey Kong 64, so no Lanky. I'm not sure about this, though, so you can check eBay and see if you can find anything there.
Klobber: I don't recall there ever being a Lanky toy. Nintendo made a series of plastic action figures as well as the plushies, but I think they only included Donkey, Diddy, Funky, and maybe Cranky. I'd have to check. They also made some Diddy Kong Racing toys. But that has nothing to do with anything.
Do you think that movie [Maemuki Roketto-Dan] also belongs on
Newgrounds.com?
And who was it who made that?
-stickdestroyer55@yahoo.com
Chiphead: Newgrounds? Never seen it there. I believe someone sent it to Animutation Central or whatever that site is. That was by former DK Vine editor Aussie Ben, who now contributes to The Rubber Chicken, where you can also find Maemuki, among other things.
According to Letters, you said I was the only one to send you any e-mail. As fun as it is to watch you weep over the thought that nobody likes you, and as tempting as it is to see how long it goes on for, the thought that you might assume I care about you in any way is simply too horrible to bear, so I must inform you that some boob (and that especially applies if it was you who somehow managed it) spelled the link to your e-mail address wrong on the "Contact Us" page.
Anyhoo.
In the most recent edition of Letters, I stated in my letter about MK:DD!!: "It seems Nintendo seems to have established a slight relationship between Baby Mario and Donkey Kong, similar to his relationship with Yoshi" You responded, saying you had no idea what I was talking about.
If you play Mario Golf, and watch the opening sequence, you'll see Yoshi entering the scene with Baby Mario on his back. Leave the controls alone until the title screen appears, and continue waiting until the opening sequence kicks in again. This time round, you'll see Donkey Kong walking in carrying Baby Mario on his shoulder.
And in Mario Tennis, if you pick Baby Mario as your character, and play a Doubles Tournament, you'll be paired with Donkey Kong. Not only that, but they're also together on the title screen, apparently talking grunting? gurgling?) in some way.
Baby Mario has starred in three games to date; Yoshi's Island, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis. Donkey Kong was in no way associated with Yoshi's Island, which leaves Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, in both of which there has been some sort of established closeness between the two. Not quite as close as Baby Mario's relationship with Yoshi (and I doubt there'll be any evidence in MK:DD, with the appearance of Baby Luigi and Diddy Kong to keep them both company) but it's there nonetheless. I think it's safe to say that Nintendo have established some sort of friendship between the two.
Hope that clears things up.
-Ben
Sparky Z: Yeah, Sean did that. He didn’t realize that I include an underscore. Its been fixed for a while. He also managed to misspell “Behonkiss”, which is actually understandable, seeing Behonkiss is American for arse, not Canadian. As for the Baby Mario thing, I misunderstood because you didn’t specify who had the previous relationship with Yoshi. If you interpret it the wrong way, your statement becomes quite cryptic.
Klobber: As if Sparky was needy in any way. You should have pity on me, and you'll see why once my letters come up. I swear, if I get one more letter in all lowercase, I'm going to go on a shooting spree...and...shoot things..
my mother in law has just bought dk on GBC but it did not come with instructions, she is on level 3 but does not know how to save on any level, could you please tell me how you can save.thanking you
-paul
Sparky Z: It saves automatically. What kind of waste of oxygen can’t even figure out how to do NOTHING?
Hi,
I want to make a suggestion for your site.
YOU NEED MORE PORN!
I realize that all of you are most likely just like David, so heres my suggestion, let me on as Porn Manager. I will make your site into something worth going to.
Thanks
-Ynaaa
Sparky Z: Wow, that’s actually a good idea.I never thought about it before, but the site does need more porn. I’ve spent several hours thinking about just what the Vine was missing. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but you nailed it. You’re hired. Naturally, I’ve added your info to the staff page. Welcome aboard.
The new challenges feature is a great idea; only recently I was thinking about e-mailing one of you and suggesting something along those lines.
But your challenges seem to disclude what I had in mind. The "No time limit" rule prevents people from competing in games such as Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, or Banjo-Kazooie. I understand why the rule is in place (to prevent people from submitting something dumb like: "Beat 5 seconds in Rainbow Road", but perhaps you could do a sub-section of challenges, where there is no stated "aim", but simply to try and get a better score/time than other people. Set up a scoreboard, and people who submit e-mailed photographic evidence (as long as it hasn't clearly been fiddled with, which is unlikely, as there's no prizes or anything) can all see who has the best times.
Banjo-Kazooie in particular is a great game for this sort of thing. A couple of years ago, a Nintendo magazine over here in Europe ran a Banjo-Kazooie competition in which there were leagues for the best time in each level, and best time overall. It was quite entertaining, and I managed a final time of about 3 hours and 9 minutes, which landed me 9th. The person in first managed 2 hours and 2 minutes, or something similar.
So perhaps in addition to the challenges section, you could also create leagues for different aspects in different games?
-Ben
Sparky Z: Time contests are all well and good, but they soil the basic concept I had in mind. You can find a scoreboard like that in a million places on the net. I envisioned a cornucopia of creative ideas, brought together from the foremost minds in DKU theory. I got 2. Nobody seems to care, since I havn’t gotten a single challenge submission in weeks. Pick up the pace, people!
In other news, how the HELL do you get a 3 hour time for Banjo-Kazooie? My record is around 10.
I really think you have got a good Donkey Kong Site. You have the best in depth info about the DKU and i think you and your fellow webmasters are doing a great, great job.
BTW, Is there a 50 live code for Donkey Kong Land 2: Diddy's kong quest?
thanks.
-The Big C.
Sparky Z: Thanks, we try. Supposedly, there is such a code, but I can’t get it to work. Check around to various code sites and good luck on your quest.
Chiphead: Start a new game and on the mode select screen press down a bunch of times until "Cheat Mode" appears. Now I believe the code you enter here is Y, A, Select, A, Down, Left, A, Down (that's left on the + Control Pad, not the L shoulder button). Your quest is over. We present you with a new quest. On second thought, present your own damn quests.
Sean: He said Land, not Country, you foolish guy in a cardboard drone suit.
Chiphead: Oh, right. Err.. try holding select and pressing left right left right. Or ABAB. Or AABB. I'm sure one of those works. It think the other two give you Kremkoins and regular coins. Or maybe one of them doesn't work. Or maybe none of them work. It's like 2AM and I don't feel like thinking. Try GameFAQs.
COULD YOU SEND DONKEY KONG COUNTRY?
5514 TERRACE C.T APT 4
TEMPLE TERRACE,FL 33617
-ApGr7@aol.com
Sparky Z: Wait, you want me to buy Donkey Kong Country and mail it to you? You must be joking.
ON NINTENDO SORRY!
-ApGr7@aol.com
Sparky Z: I thought you meant for X-Box.
I wazzup I just wanna say that dkvine is real COOL!!!
-anne
Sparky Z: Wow, thanks. All these compliments. I should hang out in the letters section more often. Its better than the forums…
I notice that every time I go to the Vine, a picture with a funny capton and an homage to MST3000 appears. I like it greatly. It's funny, and pays homage to MST3000. hooray!
-Cyberen Broyoshi
Sparky Z: Yes, it is rather nice, isn’t it? You have the old staff to thank for the concept, and the current set, but we’ll get around to making our own eventually.
Okay yeah you're right. I don't like you ONE BIT!!! Second, so what if the TV
Show is horribly inaccurate and the DK Crew breaks into song at the stupidest
moments? At least we HAVE a Donkey Kong Country TV Show. Isn't that good
enough? Apparently not for you arsemongers. Third, get a link to Conker's
Crib up soon. That site is pretty good. A bit crude-looking in some places
but hey, know of any other Conker sites? Finally, you don't have to answer
EVERY letter I send you. Just the good ones. Don't make me nag you about my
appearances in Scribes again.
-Ness554@aol.com
Sean: You don’t like me, yet you keep sending me e-mail? Brilliant plan, Einstein. Why should I be grateful about the cartoon? I see no logic in being grateful for something that sucks. Even we have standards. Conker’s Crib is dead. And while we’re on it, yes, I know of other Conker sites: in fact, I made one myself, a year or so ago. Ask Jon to verify; he got me a ton of screenshots. And you know we have a policy to put up every single Letter we get, right? Shut your trap.
hoi ik zou graag willen weten of jullie nog donky kong spelletjes verkopen voor de
super nintendo dat is een hele oude nintendo maar ik ben er nog steeds blij mee maar
ik kan geen spelletjes en meer voor vinden heeft u een idee?
dank u groetjes fabienne
-Fabienne Roosdorp
Sean: ......
Since Conker is being re-released in Director's Cut form for Xbox, you'll
probably have to come up with an explanation for how the Panther King is back
and how Conker doesn't recognize him. Well, here's a suggestion. You could
say that before he auphixated in space, Ze Professor used a handheld
time-warp device where he turned back time and made the events of BFD never
truly happening and setting the stage for the events of L&U. But that would
make the ending worth trash. Or you could just say Conker decides to make his
story into a motion picture to broadcast to Willow Woods and that the deleted
scenes are scenes Conker just threw in there to improve it. Just a couple of
suggestions. You blokes'll think of something. Also can anyone tell me some
info on sending reviews and whatnot? With L&U announced, I'm in the mood to
send a review on the DKU game I love so much. (BFD in case you think I'm
talking about reviewing L&U) BTW, I E-mailed this to two other staff members
and got User Unknown messages in return. I guess you're the only one left to
send this letter to.
-Ness554@aol.com
Sean: Do you have a life? Seriously, do you spend your days musing over what you’re going to send me, day in day out? Christ, even I’m better off than that, and I have the most miniscule social life in all of Ontario.
CLU is NOT a brand new game, damn it. It does not take place after the events of BFD, it IS BFD! It’s like how DK’94 is just a retelling of the arcade game. It doesn’t affect the TimeVine in the least. At least, that’s how I think it, Sparky thinks differently, but nevermind him. You want to write reviews? The old staff made a goddamn page on it, go over there and read it, you idiot. You couldn’t get it to go to anybody else? Don’t tell me, you sent it to beonkiss@dkvine.com and sparkyz@dkvine.com, right? Dumbass.
Sparky Z: My theory is that C:L&U takes place in the same alternate universe as BK-GR. I'm currently rewriting the Timevine to pull all this together, which you can expect sometime next year.
Hi,
I want to make a suggestion for your site.
YOU NEED MORE PORN!
I realize that all of you are most likely just like David, so heres my suggestion,
let me on as Porn Manager. I will make your site into something worth going to.
Thanks
-Ynaaa
Sean: Hold it. I got the exact same letter as Sparky did. That is a CLEAR infraction of the very specific rules we have in place. You're gone, motherfucker.
on dkc3 did the people at rare and nintindo decide to make it look like all
the charcters are made from clay the only half real looking thing in it is the
stupid rats and ganny apes
and in number 2 why didnt the use the rats from number 3 and the rats from
number 2 in 3 it all would have looked better
bonus barrels whats rong with the way things worked in the first one?
who are lankie and chunkie and tiny, where did dixie and baby go in dkc64?
how come when you beat the game in number one you only have 66% compleat how
do ya get the rest?
ill ask more tommorow
am i bothering you ? hehehe
-Jason
Sean: Oh, god. Where do I start?
Clay…? I’m going to ignore the “ganny” thing for a sec. Clay? How the hell do you figure they look like clay? You’re the first guy I’ve ever met(well, not “met”) who’s said that. I don’t think they look like clay. Why didn’t DKC2 have the DKC3 rats? Maybe because DKC2 came out a YEAR BEFORE, mayhaps? What was wrong with the original bonus barrel setup? Who knows? Who cares? Rare wanted to change it, so change they did. Everything worked out, didn’t it? And I don’t know who the heck Lankie, Chunkie and Baby Kong are, but I do know of Lanky, Chunky, and Kiddy. Yes, as a matter of fact, you are bother-you’re sending more?!! Oh my giddy aunt… *buries head in hands*
I saw this very stupid topic fad in GameFAQs's Wario Ware Board using ball
licking as the punchline and I decided to parody it:
-------------------------------------------
Topic Title: Guys, THAT'S MY BUSH!!!
------------------------------------------------
Message:
You know that show "That's my Bush"? Well, that's _my_ Bush. Matt Stone and
Try Parker just took my Bush's picture and look. My friend didn't beleive me,
but I fixed that! I gave him a good sack in the face.
Heh, I mean smack! Best. Typo. EvEr.
There. I parodied the fad. Happy?
-NES Boy
Sean: The sad thing is, I know exactly what he’s talking about.
By golly, just when I thought you were the best unofficial source for the DKU you go
and blow it all in Swanky's Strife. No, not the latest one, the one for DKC2.
According to the first question, 10 animal buddies appear in the game. We both know
that in addition to the seven animal buddies listed in the "instruction booklet"
Winky and one of Squawks relatives are the only ones to appear in DKC2. Bringing
the grand total to 9. Am I an idiot, or are you?
Why do I care?
A disappointed fan.
-Someone who’s name I forget
Sean: Hmm… ah, I see where you screwed up. “One of Squawks relatives.” There’s TWO of ‘em. Squeaks and Flapper. They’re both in that beehive level thing. Using DKC3, it’s apparent that Squeaks carries the Kongs while Flapper carries the barrels. Or maybe it’s the other way around. I wouldn’t know, I didn’t come up with that concept. Be disappointed no longer.
BTW, if you’re the guy who wrote this, e-mail me saying so I can put it in. Yeah.
Actually, being the first male born into a tribe in 100 years makes perfect sense. The Gerudo females only mated with outside males, and always gave birth to females, who then joined the Gerudo tribe themselves, before repeating.
And it's true that figuring out the Zelda timeline is like getting blood out of a stone, but one thing that is known is that Ganondorf is currently (if you haven't beat Wind Waker yet, you could forward this e-mail to another staff member so they can update the page if they wish. If you have, highlight to read) encased in stone at the bottom of the sea in Hyrule.
Oh, and regarding Bowser's bio, Baby Bowser is indeed Bowser's own son. Bowser calls him "Junior," and says: "That's my boy!". Baby Bowser refers to Bowser as "Papa".
-Ben
Behonkiss: Ah. Thanks for helping me figure things out. Sounds reasonable to me, though I wish the dispute of who Bowser's mate is could just be settled. I just wish Chad could email me and say what was wrong with Mewtwo's bio....
I got the picture right here(Of Gay Carl Winslow). I'll give it to you. You have to update the
Letters archieve that it's in of course. DO IT.
-TheHyeCircus@aol.com
Behonkiss: Sure, I'll do i-Whoops! You made a mistake. You didn't attach the picture to the email. Try again.
I liked the book!
-SlickShady122@aol.com
Behonkiss: Thanks. Just keep in mind that I'm not the one who wrote it. Also, why did you attach a Lakers picture to this email?
Well, hidee ho there, neighbor!
First off, Banjo. His absence from E3, while not completely un-surprising, has
really thrown me for a loop. I was kind of hoping that Rare would give fans of their
old franchises something to look for. But all they showed was Kameo (A game that's
gone through so many re-vamps that the end product is looking bleak. I mean, 18
monsters? Christ, that's hardly worth a demo disk), Grabbed by the Ghoulies (A
brawler, much like Wario World, except hopefully better puzzles. If not, then this
game will be on par with Luigi's Mansion, probably), and Conker: Live and Uncut
(It's a port. While it's importance and goodness is debatable (And something I won't
get into), it's still a port, and a port is almost never worth 300 bucks to play).
Hardly anything to inspire old-timers to buy an X-Box for the next gaming year (E3
to E3). I really don't like that move. If they had shown PD0 (Sabreman Racing
nonwithstanding; It's too far back to show, if it's true), maybe some more brand
loyalty would have been shown. Hmph.
Speaking of loyalty, how worried are you of Slush's planned DKU site? It seems many
of your fans will leave, seeing as how there's a faction who like them better. I
hope you all manage to hang on.
On to Mario Kart Double Dash. Do you think the presence of Diddy is significant to
the future of the DKU? Sure, the post-rare inclusion of Diddy means they won't scrap
the Rare continuity (Or at least the characters - don't get me started with
Nintendo's continuity), but do you think this signals that Diddy will be in MG:TT,
MT GCN, and MP5? I'm sure SSB3 will have him. It's only logical (But HAL isn't too
reliant on logic, now are they?).
Speaking of SSB3, I'm kind of surprised not to see one there. Even a beta demo
would have been nice. I hope they're working on another installment. If they are,
what DKU characters do you think they'll add? They'll want to cash in on Krystal,
sure. And Diddy will make it, do to his hopefully soon to be popularity among cameo
and mario gamers. But does K. Rool, and possibly Dixie, have a chance?
Oh yeah. Dixie. She hasn't been about lately, has she? I'm still kind of hoping DKP
will be released. It's a real long shot, but I live in hope. Can Rare even produce
DK games, even if it's on a Nintendo platform? It would rock if, do to some great
clause in their contract, Rare could produce DKC4 for the GBA. Now that would rule
my school.
Well that was my letter. I hope somebody else sent you a letter this time, because
answering only this fuckwit's letter in this issue wouldn't be fun, now would it?
-Saf
Chiphead: I was a bit disappointed that there was no Banjo at E³, but I suppose the team has the right to do something else. Also, I still think that almost nobody who owns an Xbox has played Conker's Bad Fur Day, so Rare decided to make it for Xbox and expand its audience before working on a sequel. Perfect Dark Zero (even though it's not DKU) was probably too early in development to be shown at E³, and I still won't believe this Sabreman Racing thing until I see screenshots or something.
Slush's DKU site doesn't really concern me. I plan on visiting it often and there's nothing stopping people from visiting two sites.
On to Diddy. I'm surprised they included him in Mario Kart Double Dash!!, so this considerably reduces the likelihood of using that damned young Donkey Kong Jr. As for future appearences, it doesn't look like he'll be in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, but we don't know who half the characters are, so you never know. He'll probably be in Mario Tennis as a doubles partner for DK, and I don't give a shit about any Mario Parties past 2.
The absence of Super Smash Bros. 3 didn't surprise me in the least. There was only one Smash Bros. on N64 and I could play Melee until Nintendo's next console comes out. I'm sure the only DKU character that will be playable, if anyone, is Diddy. Besides DK himself. Finally, I think the only chance we'll see Dixie again is if Nintendo makes a DK solo game. Rare can't make GameCube games, Donkey Kong or otherwise anymore. They can make GBA games. Whether they can have Donkey Kong I have no clue. I haven't heard anything about Diddy Kong Pilot or Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers in years, but what confuses me is that they were able to make Donkey Kong Country for GBA.
Oh, and for the record, I got more letters than anyone else this time around.
EEDIOT! everything is wrong with this stupid site for jerkwads! First of all it
has EEDIOT staffmembers! You have a broomstick headed nosepicker, a door, some
possibly homersexual lightning bug, a retarded salamander(WITH NO PAANTS), and a
sexually confused acne ridden child sexuall molesting an onion! The old staff is
much betetr than you EEDIOTS! You must use plastic surgery to become JUST LIEK THEM!
Second of all, everything is rong with yor messageboard! What the hell is this
crapshit you call a messageboard? More like messageSUCKboard gahahahahahahh
AND SECONDLY I HAT U!@!!!
-Carter
PS: I AM NOt JASON HAYES!!!!
Klobber: Must..resist urge to....parody...post by...talking...in..similar manner to...OOLOLOLOOLOLOL!!11 quickly, must move ont o next lettar! lol!11
Can you at least tell us who hacked the forums this time? Don't tell me it
was Lankydavid again. That arsehole needs to find something better to do. I'm in
the mood to send him some Lord Harry MP3s.
-Ness554
Klobber: Oh, if you only knew. Lankydavid says a guy named Robocop hacked the forums the first time. I've talked to both Lankydavid and Robocop and I do believe they're two different people. Then again, Lankydavid outright told me he hacked the forums the second time, and said that Robocop gave him the password. In any case, the forums won't be hacked again in the near future. Unless they're being hacked even as I write this.
You have Lord Harry mp3s? ....why?
Sean: Do we really want to know?
When are you gonna change that forum picture link with Our Friend on it?
Isn't he still in a coma?
-NES Boy
Klobber: As you can see, it already is changed, and will be changed again soon to reflect our new moderator, Retriever II.
See, the other staffers get long, in depth letters. I get parodies of lamer speak and questions about why we haven't changed things. That's the thanks I get. Buggers, the lot of you.
Dear Klobber
My name is mark. I was visiting Mundo Rare when I found out that Rare has
registered the name Sabreman Stampede. They think this is the Xbox version of the
never released (GODDAMNIT!) Donkey Kong Racing. Do you think this is true? And
if it is, would you shoot out your kneecaps like I have? ANSWER ME!
You know what, Screw you guys, I'm going home.
.....
.....
I'm gonna. Just give me a minute!
-Ejmazzei@aol.com
Klobber: Yes. I'm certain that's what it is. I have it on good authority, just you wait. You'll see, you'll all see. The darkness comes...oh, er, right. I would shoot my kneecaps out, except I already did that. So in order to do it again I'd have to have some type of operation to get new kneecaps for the sole purpose of shooting them out again. And that would just be stupid. I hope you've gotten home by now, too, seeing as this letter is several weeks old by now. Though it's pretty hard to get anywhere without your kneecaps.
Sean: Hold on. Hold on. Klobber... you had knees?
how do we send artwork, e-mail or just plain mail? please right back
-Kartdude65@aol.com
Klobber: Well, congratulations on getting the Mr. Moony award for writing the most intelligent letter I've received all day. Seriously. You serve as a shining testament to all the things that make up the true DKU fan. Your wit is unchallenged, your ability unsurpassed. You serve as a beacon to those lost in darkness, a master of what makes this fine world what it is today. My heart swells with pride knowing such visitors regularly view this site. I salute you, sir.
PS: You send them by mail, along with large sums of money.
Man, it's good to see the Japan Logos Page make a return. Especially seeing
the Japanese slogan for Mario Golf and Mario Tennis ("For All Players Hoping to
Touch the True Entertainment"). Hey, isn't it funny how the old school DK
Arcade theme (before the rap version came up) in DKC for SNES remained intact for
the GBC, but not for the GBA? Heh, heh.
-NES Boy
Klobber: Yeah, it's obvious Nintendo of Japan knows what the players want. Now if we can just get NOA to wise up and start making badly translated slogans, Nintendo will be SAVED! Also I'm going to take the fact that Rare left out the oldskool tune out of the GBA as a sign that they hate Miyamoto. Because...well, I don't have to have a reason.
Hey...I just wanted to say thanks for putting my art up. It sucked, but still
managed not to get on the secondary page. And yes. I have 2 email addresses
I'll send some more soon. And or the second time, GRACIAS!!!!^_^
-Sweet 'N Sour
Klobber: You are most welcome, wink wink. And the five dollars you slipped me certainly helped further along my decision to put you on the regular artwork page, nudge nudge. Hahahaha.
