Hmm.. what have we tonight? Oh, first, kudos to (very) occasional reader Meghan on her birthday. She's a good friend of mine, so don't get the crazy idea that you can e-mail me asking for your own birthday mentions. And since it's been a while, we decided to toss out the old DKJV Radio playlist in favor of something we unoriginally refer to as Donkey Kong Country Week. Buffer up and jam out* to the mad tunes from the DKC series. Relive the glory days of the DKU. Worship the brilliance of David Wise. Appreciate the change from our statistically least favorite song, Gobi's Valley. Ah, and for my last order of business, today it was Blur by Sonic Teamunexpectedly brought to my attention that Nintendo Co. Ltd. has blatantly ripped off the work of Kenneth Hawkins in creating their new design for Zelda. Click the image at right to view this intellectual property fiasco in its fullest. Taking advantage of an obviously handicapped child. For shame, Nintendo.
*Do not jam out to these songs. You will look stupid.

Update #2
I'm back for the second update time, if you will. A Conker's Bad Fur Day Reader Review is waiting. My belated First Impressions of the game with that name will be up eventually as well, but not tonight.
Update by Slush.

Update #1
This is our first update today, and they'll be more later in the evening. First off, we've revamped the Donkey Kong Land III Time Attack Times, giving it a greater sense of competition. Also, we have a small Donkey Kong promotional sighting to report. I was in the grocery store the other day stocking up on Mountain Dew Code Red when I happened upon a cardboard display for Frito Lay products. It was a three-dimensional school bus, with the majority of the cameo games cast "riding in the bus." DK was at the very back, sticking out of the bus, looking like a goober with pencils and a backpack. Hell, at least Donkey Kong is getting his face out there, even if it is back to school promotions.

Update #2
Another update, as promised, headed your way. This time, it's those Star Fox Adventures screenshots that Shoving cake in people's faces is fun.everyone's been raving about. Erm. Well, it's those Star Fox Adventures Screenshots that no-one knew we had until we updated just now. Yes. We've also got another Anniversary pic from none other than Cammi. Once again, thanks heaps to all our fans (and otherwise) who've stuck it out with us for the last two years. Obviously we couldn't have done it without you, and keep all those letters of congratulation coming. To me. Until next time, keep smiling! Roll credits.

Update #1
Weekends are fantastic, you know? Of course you know, and here's our first update of the day (as we'll have more later on) in a DKC2 Reader Review. After reading it, I suggest you all go play DKC2 for good measure. If you don't own it, go find it and buy it! Spend your Saturday worth while!

Update #3
Well, after seeing that things couldn't possibly get any worse (check News for details), I thought it'd be kind to give you all a nice update of...SCREENSHOTS! *phew* Where do we get this originality, eh? Seriously though, I've just finished updating both the Diddy Kong Pilot shots (nice to see some new ones of this trooper), as well as the obligitory Super Smash Bros. Melee shots. Yeehaw. Click to your heart's content, and look forward to the rest of Spaceworld. Hopefully we'll squeeze some more news and shots out yet.

Update #2
Ugh. I am emotionally drained by Spaceworld, and we're not even two hours into it. Want to see why? Check out the news. Okay, let's see... Andrey sent in a mindnumbingly up-to-date rewording of my "What the HELL?" feature, called The Fox on the Ground. But then, how can that be all? This is our site's second anniversary! We decided to kick back this year and not do anything Somewhere in Russia, Andrey is nude.big like last year's "insanely sucessful" Heroes of Kazaam. But I did want to share with you this awesome picture sent in by our extremely talented featured artist, Panu Vihavainen. Thanks a million to all of you who stuck with us through the years (plural - that sounds odd), and were as minimal asses as possible. We really appreciate it, and wish you all well, but watch out for the MOONMAN. He bites.

Update #1
Sorry for the lack of updates, I was expecting Slush to be responsible for one out of two days, but that's apparently too much to ask. Oh - four new Star Fox Adventures screenshots are up, as well as a new news item in the page of the same name. And since it is our site's anniversary and all, check back for more later. Update #1, over and out.

Righty-ho then! Here it is, something so thrilling and exciting (not to mention unique) that you'll be blown away by its sheer brilliance. It's....more SSBM Screenshots. I'd apologise, except that I don't want to. If you all sent me more mail, we'd have a decent update where I'd get to humiliate some poor soul for no reason. Come on! It's no fun to have an empty mailbox! I'm hale and hearty - and do you know why?

I'm a coffee achiever, Sam!

Hahaha - I've completely lost my audience. G'night, folks.

I haven't talked to Chad or Our Friend at all today, so it kind of throws a kink in my update plans (I had to ask either Chad to ask Our Friend to get a picture for me, or ask Our Friend myself), so I just have an updated TimeVine. I added an entry for Mario Tennis for Game Boy Color (with only five percent bullsh-t), and reworked the history for some key events in the lives of the animals living in the island chains (90 percent bullsh-t, but it works), including some lore from Conker's Bad Fur Day. It's a work in progress folks, and it'll constantly be changing around as long as Rare reveals more info about the past of our animal friends. Okay, I'm out. Which reminds me of something. I had no idea that annoying bitch Rosie O'Donnell was a lesbian. Am I that oblivious, or do I just not care? Probably the latter.

I feel very ill. I don't know what caused it. But hey-hey-hey, why be sickly when there are some new Artwork things (including a great picture by our featured artist Panu), but there are two-day-old SSBM Screenshots. The pages were up, but we just didn't bother updating about it. Ough, I don't feel well.

With the recent news story about a canned Virtual Boy version of Donkey Kong Country 2, we thought it would be fitting to create a page that takes a look at what could have been, and almost was. Donkey Kong Country VB, we salute you. SALUTE!

So you don't like blatant evidence of paranormal entities? Fine. Here's a new feature I scratched out in just over 30 minutes... that's right, it's What the HELL?

Gazizza, my dilznoofus! Anywho, tonight we have even more delicious Donkey Kong 64 MP3s, which seem to be the theme of this month's adequacity. Before I go though, I'd like to promote Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor. Rocket Fuel's got the upstate prison flavor that keeps you ugly all night long. So when you wanna get sick, remember, nothing makes yo' feet stank like Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor... DAMN! It's crezappy!

Today, we update with one of our most unusual features to date. I won't get into it too much here, but you'll want to check out I Want To Believe. Our second-tier updates include Artwork and fresh songs over at DKJV Radio. Believe it.

I won. I WON. I WON!! *breathes and centres* Right. Sorry. Just had to get that out of my system. There was a little competition that I entered (nothing major) and I won. Yup, lucky me. Anyway, tonight Chad brings to you the thrilling excitement of Super Smash Bros. Melee Screenshots. Much more exciting than winning a competition. Oh yes.

I WON!! HAHAHAHA!! MINE!! ALL MINE!! DOWN, DOWN, DOWN! GO, GO, GO!! MINE, MINE, MINE!! MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAA!!!! *cue genie* Stop! You have desicrated the spirit fo the lamp! Prepare to face the consequences! Meh - consequences shcmonsequences - so long as I've won!

In the midst of this lovely news drought, and while I'm making more MP3s for the next DK64 batch, why don't you stare at our new artist Schroe's Flash picture in Artwork for a few hours? I swear, I wouldn't have posted it, it's just so.... alluring... and... hyp.. no.. tz..nfdggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

08/05/01
Oh, what do we have tonight? Why, it's some new Artwork, including a picture by our featured artist Panu that's been sitting in my inbox for far too long. And while we're at it, why don't we update the Donkey Kong 64 MP3 Music section with a revamped Jungle Japes Medley, a File Select thing, and the fruit of my labor of this afternoon, the over-ten-minutes-long DK Isles Medley. Please keep in mind that this will seriously hurt our bandwidth if you download multiple times, so please don't start the huge download unless you're comitted to finishing it. Or I'll punch your throat in.

Tonight, I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big "Hello" to all our friends at the Rare-Extreme Forums. Hi everyone! Thanks for all the countless free extra hits that you're causing us to accumulate! Cheerio and toodle-pip!

Moving on, tonight our update consists of a lovely Donkey Kong Country Review by yours truly, and thanks to Chad, we've also got a lovely selection of Donkey Kong 64 MP3 Music. Absolutely fabulous.
