Why hello there! I bet you thought that something had happened to me! No? Well...fine then. See if I care. I'm still here anyway, so too bad. Anyway, tonight's update is one that's sure to please you. Just click on the link and look at it. I can't be bothered with descriptions.

Well, as promised, here's the Gloomy Galleon MP3 for you. Spend your Saturday night exploring the sunken pirate ship of your mind.

Okay, then... as promised, here's the backlogged Artwork, with new ones from Cammi, Mike, and Kazzie-chan. So apart from an ancient Conker's Pocket Tales reader review, that's all my dammed-up inbox taken care of. Expect the review fairly soon. Or don't. Don't would probably be safer, actually.

Oh! Oh oh oh! Look what I did! I got some new DK64 MP3 files for ya. Specifically, Frantic Factory Medley, Mini Kar, and Fungi Forest Medley. I skipped Gloomy Galleon because you have to start a new game to get the music from inside the mechanical fish, but Ben's going to toss that portion of the medley my way, via one of his unfinished files. Expect it soon. And I have some backlogged Artwork that I'm in the process of updating with, so expect that within a day or two.

What could be better than having an update last night? Having another one tonight! No lies here sir, what we've got here's funkier than Rock Solid (almost): more Mobile Madness! Totally kickarse, and all that. There's about five new Nokia ringtones since last update, so click away to your heart's content. I'm also planning to irritate my family and make some more high shrieking music. Be grateful.

Here's an update that wasn't done by us, but we get to take credit for the update anyway! A new a Banjo-Kazooie Reader Review is up, so please check it out, otherwise updating the site would be in vein.

Remember that DKU Melodies Feature sequel that was meant to happen yesterday, but didn't cause everything in your life since you turned ten has gone horribly wrong and it's all down hill from here? Well, apparently Chad and Slush (I was asked to emphasize that it was they who compiled this list), anyway, Chad and Slush, being Chad and Slush haven't disappointed you completely and now, Chad and Slush bring you Chad and Slush's list of Ten More Top DKU Melodies by Chad and Slush. MP3s and everything. Would you believe Chad gave me the link to this feature, but I lost it and had to go sifting through that blasted FTP? At this time of night? Yeah, I know. I need to be glove-slapped. Are you listening to Rick Wakeman's "No Earthly Connection" right now? Well, er, neither am I...

The sequel to the DKU Melodies feature, right? Yeah? Sorry, no. It's 1:39 AM as I type this, I just got done with a month's worth of reading in the past two days, and I have to wake up in four hours. So nope, can't finish the music feature tonight. Oh, buck up... here's The Fabled Panther King added to the bottom of our crappy Rogues Gallery. Red lightning and everything.

09/15/01
Tonight, Ben updated his Mobile Madness: DKU Ringtones feature with four new Nokia songs (Chucky Poo's Lament, DKC2 Main Theme, Jinjo Village, and Gruntilda's Lair). Tomorrow, Chad and I will continue the unintentional musical theme with an updated look at the top DKU melodies of all time. See you then.

While none of us really feel that working on a website should merit the kind of attention we've given in the past, especially with the horrible recent events putting things into perspective, we'll try to keep a somewhat regular update schedule for the next few weeks as America recuperates. Rare updated with a new CBFD Wallpaper, and there are some new Smash Bros. Melee shots that you can probably find somewhere like Planet GameCube. We'll put them up eventually.

Donkey Kong's Jungle Vine would like to send our sympathies to those effected by the terrorist attacks on American soil today. It's certainly nothing to joke about, and we're all shocked and horrified that such an event could transpire. Our condolences to all.

It's too laaaaate. Try this on for size. Accursed Notepad! Why dost thou ruin thine formatting! Dost thou not have a SOUL??

09/08/01
Well, guess what? I'm back! What do you mean who? Me! Andrey! I'm back! From where? Russia! I was gone for over two months! Surely you noticed...no? Oh, there's no sense even trying, is there? Alright, then in that case there's absolutely nothing interesting about this update. Except, maybe, for the fact that Chad's selfishly ended DKC week over at DKJV Radio. And even though it's technically been a bit longer than a week, I won't tell anyone if you don't. So now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go write features that I'll name after myself that degrade and pile trash on people you like. Good to have me back, isn't it?

09/07/01
What the hell? Letters? Surely we jest! Jest we may, but we shall not this time.
Update by Slush.

09/04/01
We were going to do Letters last night... and then tonight... but they'll just be pushed further back, because Slush can't get his act together. Damned site-scouting slacker (Excuse me Chad. I was the one who wanted to do them Saturday, but YOU couldn't get your act together, plus I've been the one who's been fixing the majority of the broken images around here). So here's a bunch of riveting (the adjective, not the verb) new Artwork. Zesty.
Update by Chad.

09/02/01
The Vine goes "old-skool" tonight to bring back a game that hasn't been played in a while. Swanky's Strife is back, this time quizzing you on Banjo-Tooie. That's right. Swanky knows he was nowhere near Banjo-Tooie either, but he's happy to present the questions anyway. Swanky hasn't been in a game since Donkey Kong Country 3, you know.

Finally, I've managed to succeed in completing my First Conker's Bad Fur Day Impressions. I've created life! I've created life! Oh, and be sure to click the Update Archives if you want to find out what happened last month.
